The Mount Ararat Altitude Climbing Program is a secure experience that includes an acclimatization day to support altitude adaptation. Following the ascent, the program also offers a cultural tour of the Doğubeyazıt and Van regions. Through this journey, you’ll explore village life, historical sites, and natural beauty, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable adventure. Moreover, you will gain insight into the Iranian border region and develop a deeper understanding of the area.

Day 1
We arrive at Çevirme Village, which sits at 2200 meters elevation. Here, our porters will load our equipment onto mules for transfer to the camp. This is also where our trek begins. After a relaxed 5-hour hike, we’ll reach the first camp at 3200 meters.

Day 2
We begin our ascent to the second camp at 4200 meters for acclimatization exercises. Although this stage is more challenging than the previous day, we’ll reach the second camp in around 4 hours. We’ll rest here for an hour, take short walks around the camp, and then begin our descent back to the first camp at 3200 meters, where we’ll have ample time to rest before the summit climb.

Day 3
After breakfast, we resume our climb to the second camp at 4200 meters, where we’ll stay the night. Here, we’ll check our equipment and prepare our bags for the midnight summit climb.

Day 4: Historical Tour
Following a night’s rest, we’ll start our summit climb at a time determined by our guide. We’ll reach the peak in about 6 hours. After a half-hour rest at the summit, we’ll descend to the second camp at 4200 meters, taking around 3 hours. After resting for an hour, we’ll continue our descent to the first camp at 3200 meters, where we’ll spend our final night on the mountain.

Day 5
After breakfast, we’ll descend to the vehicle transfer point at 2200 meters, arriving in about 3 hours. From there, we’ll transfer back to our hotel.

Day 6
Today we’ll explore the historical sites and natural wonders of Doğubeyazıt and return to our hotel afterward.

Day 7
After breakfast, we’ll start our tour of Van, followed by an overnight stay at our hotel in Van, marking the end of our program.

Extra Day:
This extra day is reserved in case weather conditions make the climb impossible. If needed, we’ll stay at the second camp (4200 meters) and wait for better weather. If conditions remain favorable, we’ll use this day to rest at the Base Camp at 3200 meters after the summit descent.
